About Us

One & Done is a division of Tamarack Industries- a family owned and operated manufacturing business established in 1995 in Winnipeg, MB, Canada.

Originally Crown Construction Equipment, Tamarack has specialized in engineering and producing high quality and reliable heating equipment for the rental and construction industries for almost 30 years and in more recent years, the pest control industry.

Our experience in producing heating equipment began with Heat King, our glycol heating division. Our first product, the HK500, was the most powerful mobile glycol system available at the time. Throughout the years we have listened and responded to the needs of the industry, and produced different products accordingly. Heat King continues to be a trusted name in the rental, construction, and resource sectors due to the reliability and durability of the products, and our great customer service.

In 2018, Tamarack Industries purchased Thawzall LLC, a manufacturer of glycol and flameless heating products in Alexandria, MN. We remained committed to retaining the design of Thawzall products while enhancing their reliability and quality. The flameless product fit right in with our existing Heat King products, which had been used for various applications throughout the rental, construction, and resource sectors for decades. With the addition of Thawzall’s Alexandria location, we have been able to better provide technical assistance and deliver parts faster in the U.S.!

When we noticed a gap in the bed bug control industry that we could fill, Heat Assault was created. We learned that despite heat becoming the new standard for killing bed bugs, existing heat treatment systems were just not powerful or reliable enough to eradicate full infestations. Heat Assault was designed based off our already existing and successful Heat King products for construction applications. We were able to provide a solution to pest control companies that was safer than using propane heaters or insecticides, and more effective. This made Heat Assault a one of a kind heat treatment system in the pest control industry. Stronger and more powerful than any alternative, Heat Assault has made a name for itself as top notch for efficiency and safety.

One & Done uses the Heat Assault system to perform successful bed bug heat treatments. We’ve been producing heating equipment for the pest control industry for many years, and know the ins and outs of the science behind using heat for bed bug eradication. One & Done is based in Minnesota, at our Alexandria plant. We offer services for residential, commercial, and industrial applications throughout the Minneapolis region.
